Trash and Recycling Numbers

Goals

You will soon receive three vinyl stickers with you unit number to mark your trash and recycling containers. These numbers should help establish ownership at the end of the day, after the cans are empty and make less attractive means of marking (spray paint, neon tape, etc.) unnecessary.

Please take a few minutes to follow these instructions or watch this video to see a quick example of how to apply the vinyl numbers. Thanks for taking the time to help keep our neighborhood looking its best. If you have any questions, make a mistake or need more numbers, please contact our Property Manager at admin@enclaveathuntercreek.com

Clean

Plan to place your new vinyl sticker in a low-traffic area on the side of the container to protect it from scratching or rubbing. Skip the harsh detergents and clean the area with mild soap if necessary. Air dry or wipe with a lint-free cloth.

Peel

With the edge of a credit/gift card, press the cream backer, vinyl sticker and translucent tape together on a flat surface. Carefully peel the backer from the vinyl, making sure the vinyl numbers remain attached to the transfer tape.

Apply

Hold the transfer tape and vinyl just above your desired location and make sure it is level and square. Starting at one edge, press both against the side of your container and rub firmly with your hand and/or credit card, making sure to focus the pressure on the vinyl numbers.

Reveal

Lift an edge of the transfer tape and pull it back at 180 degrees leaving the vinyl numbers on your container. If any air bubbles remain, place your transfer tape back over the numbers to protect them and rub the air to the edge of the vinyl.

If you already received your stickers and applied them, show us how you did.  Snap a picture and send it our way.  We’d love to see it!
